Yat-Kha
tuva.rock

As the title implies, there are moments where this is the most 'rock' recording by this contemporary Tuvan ensemble to date, a hard hitting, electric exploration of Tuvan roots and western rock. But just as often it is a gentle, folky and beautiful tribute to the folk music. Possibly their best to date.

Listen:
Come Along
Amdy Baryp

Albert KUVEZIN: vox, guitar, yat-kha (long zither)
Zhenya TKACHOV: kit, kengyrgy (Tuvan bodhran), vox
Radik TIULIUSH: igil, khoomei vox
with:
Mahmoud SKRIPALTSCHCHIKOV: bass
Sailyk OMMUN (Ms.): vox, yat-kha (long zither)

Please note!
Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
