The Big Session Volume 1 (Westpark)
On May 18, 19 and 20 2004 Oysterband were joined at Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush, London, for live sessions in front of a small audience by a mighty cast - June Tabor, Phil Beer and Steve Knightley (Show of Hands), Eliza Carthy and Ben Ivitsky, Jim Moray (interrupting his tour with Richard Thompson), James O'Grady and (to add a shot of weird to the mix) visiting American-gothick originals The Handsome Family performed all sorts of familiar and unfamiliar material together over the three nights.

"...joyful spontaneity...a powerful album, with [a] rugged spirit of adventure..." Mojo "...coherent, unusual...visceral live sound...Vol 1 sets a standard that'll be hard to beat." fRoots |

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
