"It's Didier again with Trio Trad, where he plays alongside two fiddlers, Aurélie Dorzée and Luc Pilartz, with Luc doubling on bagpipes. The three of them take us on a musical trip around Europe's dance tunes, starting in Sweden and eventually reaching the Balkans after visits to various latitudes in-between. They sound at their most exciting on a set of Auvergne bourrées. They slip in a piece by Vivaldi which tends to confirm the feeling that this touch of the conservatoire makes them more of a concert band than one that would play functional dance music." - fROOTS

The band says: 'The Trad trio returns with a second album stuffed of inventions and sensitivity in a repertory of continental Europe; Balkans, Greece, Sweden and of the islands like Ireland or Hébrides, let us add to that some surprises. Aurélie Dorzée, Luc Pilartz and Didier Laloy have grown together for more than ten years and now seem to draw of the same breath. Two violins and an accordion sound like an orchestra: broad and powerful. They release an energy which allures the listener, and the quality of the playing is fresh.

Please note!
Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
