| "Panta Rhei is the name that is most likely to register on this side of the English Channel because of their association with Coope Boyes & Simpson on various World War I music projects. The talented sextet gives very individual and creative interpretations of dance music from Romania, France, Ireland, Italy and Sweden. The booklet notes call Danse pour l'Élan, "a very free vision of the polska", but this approach is applicable to all their music. They create a wide variety of moods and styles here; Steve Houben's sax draws a lot from jazz and Stephan Pougin's crisp percussion derives from a whole range of world music styles. Kathy Adam's cello is quietly effective throughout the album, but she is particularly listenable on the playing of two Irish reels, The Long Hill Of Mourne, before she combines with Steve's flute on the roaring The Tailor's Thumb." - fRoots |

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
