A pretty standard lineup of guitars, bass and drums is augmented by accordion, mandolin, mandola, bagpipes, zither and other light touches that bring this into the anthemic folk-rock realm of Black 47, Oysterband or the Waterboys, Latvian style. A great lead singer and rock solid musicianship make this well worth a listen, even if you do lose something not knowing the language.
