Recorded at various 2003 concerts Kristian Blak and the danish/Faroese band Yggdrasil focus on original compositions by Blak and interpretations of folk material from the North Atlantic: Faroese ballads, hymns, rhymes, Inuit songs, Shetland tunes and their own blend of ethno-world interpretations with a definitive jazz edge. Features the wonderful vocalist Eivor Palisdottir.
