In the foothills of Morocco's Middle Atlas mountains lies the city of Fes. Once a year Fes hosts an acclaimed Festival of World Sacred Music. These 10 tracks, capture some of the best of the festival's 1999 and 2000 seasons, include: the rhythms and voices of Egypt and Algeria, Sufi songs of West Africa, Qaderi Dervish music from Kurdistan, Spanish Gypsy songs, and more.
