 Tesi has been a house favorite at RootsWorld for many years, and is certainly one of the most popular artists here at cdRoots as well.  Thaspos - Riccardo Tesi and Banditaliana $18.99 (cdRoots# rd-tesi-thaspos) Melodeon master Tesi does it again, with a brilliant set of tunes and songs that span the globe for inspiration and then land squarely in Italy for execution. A band of melodeon, guitars saxophones and percussion is ably augmented by guests on bass, strings, reeds, vocals and percussion. Highlights include a tribute to Malagasy valiha player Justin Vali, and a phenomenally moody and beautiful 'Penombre' (That by the way had its debut as a solo piece on last year's Free Reed Festival on RootsWorld!) Order now because these will probably run out fairly quickly. 
 Acqua, foco e vento - Riccardo Tesi $18.99 (cdRoots# rd-tesi-acqua) This is the newest recording by the Italian melodeon master, and is sure to be a minor hit in the little world of world music.
 Il Ballo Della Lepre - Riccardo Tesi $17.99 (cdRoots# rd-tesi1) One of Tesi's earlier works, more folk-traditional than recent recordings, but in some opinions around here, still one of is best
 PresenteRemoto - Riccardo Tesi $18.99 (cdRoots# cni-tesi08) A full blown ensemble release by the master organetto player from Italy. A great ensemble that includes Stefano Bollani, Elena Ledda, Ginevra Di Marco, Gianmaria Testa, Daniele Sepe, Gavino Murgia, Patrick Vaillant, Gabriele Mirabassi and of course, Tesi's Banditaliana. Highly recommended, like everything Tesi does.

 Lune - Riccardo Tesi and Banditaliana $17.99 (cdRoots# cni-tesi-lune) 2005 release by the master acordionist from Italy and his fine ensemble of Maurizio Geri (guitar and voice), Claudio Carboni (sax) and Ettore Bonafè (percussion). Nothing less than brilliant, as expected!
 Banditaliana - Riccardo Tesi $17.99 (cdRoots# rd-tesi2) Italy's most recognized melodeon (accordion) player in his best recording to date. With a solid band, wonderful new arrangements, this is dynamic new folk music, touched with classical and jazz, a few bits of funk and a brilliant interpretation of Malagasy music for solo accordion. Simply a must have CD for anyone who like innovative, melodic music. Highly Recommended
