Drag
- Susanne Lundeng
$17.99
(cdRoots# kkv-drag)
The Norwegian fiddler's 1994 recording is one of my personal favorites, for it's high energy and great ensemble work. Accompanied mostly by accordion, organ, percussion and acoustic bass, the arrangements leave her lots of room for great playing and interesting interplay with her compatriots.

Vals til den rode fela
- Susanne Lundeng
$17.99
(cdRoots# kkv-lundeng-vals)
Susanne Lundeng's fourth album, "Vals til den røde fela," is above all a lyrical album, with a great deal of character and a form of expression that Susanne Lundeng keeps on developing. On this recording Susanne has composed all the music herself. Her particular form is deeply rooted in traditional music, but also gathers inspiration and elements from other genres. This is a purely instrumental recording. There are elements of both jazz and rock, and also sense the resonance and musical openness that characterizes contemporary music.
