Please note!
Most of our CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. I guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
Thanks- Cliff, cdRoots

Paranda
- Various Artists - Belize

(cdRoots# tree-13)
...presents six Garifuna paranderos and a punta rocker sprung from paranda . The artists, spread remarkably between 27 and 94 years of age, hail from the Caribbean coast of southern Belize and Guatemala. The call-and-response vocals and piercing harmony ride over a mournful, driving, minor-key guitar that achieves its arresting effect in part by tuning down a half-tone or more. Without exception, these men are astounding singers and instrumentalists. Their voices emerge from somewhere deep within, and the stories they can tell.' - RootsWorld
