The record label says:
The function of an overture is give members of the audience time to settle down and prepare themselves to listen to a long and complex piece of music.
In classical Andalusian music (ala), the overture is called the tushia.
Because the tushia is instrumental, it is comparatively accessible to the Western ear. Because of this accessibility, and because of the hundreds of requests we have received from the Orchestra subscribers, we have devoted this album to the best of the tushias in the Andalusian Orchestra's repertoire. With hope that it will both please listeners familiar with ala and introduce this music to a new audience as yet unfamiliar with it.

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
