Daoud and Saleh Al-KuwaityTheir Star Shall Never Fade (Magda) Jewish brothers born in Kuwait, make their name in Iraq, then settle in Israel, and along the way great a unique Arabic music for violin and ud. The brothers Saleh (1908-1986) and Daoud (1910-1976) El-Kuwaiti wrote, composed and played with the biggest Arab singers and musicians, such as Salima Mourad, Oum Kolthoum and Muhammad Abed-el Wahab and were among King Faisal's favourite entertainers, performing for him and composing music for various formal events like the King's coronation. This is a collection of rare recordings (double CD), constituting the musical heritage of the Iraqi community in Israel and worldwide. An important document and great music, too. 2 CD set

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
