Oliver Schroer (June 18, 1956 - July 3, 2008) was a Canadian fiddler, composer and music producer. Freedom Row is the boundary-pushing fiddler's final full-length album with his band the Stewed Tomatoes. Recorded in various studios and even from his hospital bed as he dealt with the cancer that finally took his life, the music is compelling and soulful, and represents Oliver's unique and celebratory approach to music and life in general.
