More musical wonder and strangeness in 2006 from the Greek laikadelica master. Papakonstantinou is a house favorite here at cdRoots, for his bizarre blend of Greek roots and avant garde tendencies. Using both folk and rock instruments, his band brings a new vision to Greek music, one that is removed from both the rembetika-revivalist camp and the Euro-song mainstream. Comparisons might be made to Lou Reed or Radiohead, but any comparison will fall short... T.P. is an original in any language.
