Another wonder of the new Greek roots-jazz movement, this one pits the core duo of guitarist Costas Baltzanis and percussionist Petros Kourtis against a small choral ensemble from Bulgaria (not the usual 'choir' sound either!), accompanied by lyre, saxophones, flutes, violin, electric bass and a barrage of percussion in an agressive tour de force of edgy jazz and deep Balkan roots.
