The band says:
'Modern' arrangements of traditional repertory and original compositions merges in a musical proposal playing on the intimate strings of popular patrimony and at the same time touching the new experience of contamination. The first aim is the discovery of the amusement of the audience end the musicians together, in a concert-party during which is very difficult 'not to move your foot'.

Musicians come from different musical experiences (from jazz to traditional music, from fusion to classic) and meet in a common project mixing their attitudes and creating an athmosphere that sounds modern and antique together. The instrumental research, in fact, leads the trational sounds of accordion, tambourine and violin near to bass, drums and saxophone in a new repertory that exalts all their virtualities preserving their intense evocative strength. Musicians keeps playing with the audience and the music itself all the time just like in a street-concert creating a very manigold mood.

Starting from traditional songs from Salento (Puglia - South Italy) - rearranged with a modern spirit - the band achieves the most personal sound with the original compositions played with traditional instruments, not anymore exclusively exiled to the execution of traditional standards, but inserted into a larger expression path, where they can strongly evocate the collective musical patrimony and at the same time they can express their versatility, while taking inspiration from jazz, latin, arabic or argentine musics.

This is the tortuous trip of this band's concert, awesome with 'new tarantellas' and traditional gipsy songs and cradling with tangos and swings, a trip through differents impressions and new athmospheres, looking for something to discover. The band has participated in many events and festivals and has collabored with musical and theatrical companies all over Italy and in England, Spain, Greece, Switzerland, Romania.

Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
