2006 brings the first recording by the legendary Cuban group in many years, with 14 songs, half of them long pieces especially for dancers, recorded in the studio, but with a conciously 'live' feel . The tres, percussion and trumpet dominate as always, and their ideas for the montuno are as potent as ever. It includes guarachas, of course, but also a retrospective of their older songs and styles, newly recorded, expented and rejuvinated.
