Isglem is one of Norway´s leading groups working with freely improvised music. The duo´s music, their many live gigs and their three albums, is based on elements drawn from Norwegian folk music, via Afro-American free jazz tradition, to modern European music. Since 1987 Isglem has created assorted soundscapes, from the most energetically and expressive sound blasts to serene and moody intimations, combined with a unique personal sound, and with a distinctive identity.
