This Israel-based ensemble plays contemporary Celtic-inspired music with a definite distinction. Sometimes it is a straiight ahead jig for flute, bodhran, bagpipes, accordion, bouzouki or fiddle, at other times they are mixing middle-eastern instruments (percussion, ud) and rhythms with Irish traditional melodies, a spalsh of jazz or rock, an original composition here and there. It's a global-village approach that has many hits and one or two misses, but when they are on, they really do something unique and powerful.
