Bright Galecia' was composed to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Santiago de Compostela University by this well known Spanish folk ensemble, released in 1995.

Recorded in 1995 at Estudios Cormoran, Galicia. A composition commissioned by the University of Santiago de Compostela for the exhibition celebrating the 500th anniversary of its foundation. It is divided in four movements, the fourth of which is a suite of traditional Galician melodies. Collaborations of soloist voices, Gregorian chant choirs and traditional tambourine players.
