Els temps encara estan canviant (Discmedi, Spain)
$16.99
A group of classic (mostly American) folk and neo-folk songs, political and social songs of the 60s and 70s, performed by some of Spain's presitgious folkies including Maria del Mar Bonet, Pau Riba and Jaume Sisa. Includes tunes written by or from the repetoire of Dylan, Paxton, Guthrie, Ste. Marie, PP&M, The Youngbloods and others. Includes "Rock My Soul," "Universal Soldier," "The Hour That My Ship Comes In," "This Land is My Land," "We Shall Overcome," "Clementine," and "On Top Of Old Smokey." Performances are a pretty wide ranging mix of folk, folk-rock, pop and Spanish roots styles. Even if you lived these times in some other country, there's a strange sense of nostalgia to it all that transcends the translations.... it's strangely alluring, but probably meaningless to anyone born after 1965.

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
