What the artist says of his work:
BUENAVISTA BOULEVARD project: After the good reception from critics and public alike of the CD “Colubraria”, edited in the summer of 2001, and the consolidation of the group formed by Manolo Brancal (guitar), Jesus gimen (percussion), Diego (bass) we intend to record the themes which were still outstanding after “Colubraria”.

An important fact drives this recording; the approval from the Autoridad Port.....Ambien, of permission to make a recording of the song “Waltz de Malaspina” inside the lighthouse on L’illa Grossa on the Columbretes Islands. This recording was made on 25 april 2002 with a surprising result thanks to the natural acoustics of the lighthouse. A dream long yearned for and finally come true.

The collaboration of musicions of other styles brings distinct sounds to the melodies of the recordings known to us and interpreted by Rondallas or regional dance groups. For this new project we can count on the collaboration of musicians like:
Kepa Junkera (Trikitixa): Born in Bilbao, exponent of the new folk music and recognised worldwide for his Diatonic Accordian technique.
Javier Ruibal (Vocals and guitar), Admired by Sabina......and many more, he has been christened The Voice of the Andalus. He is not a prophet in our country but he comes close in the British BBC.
Guillermo Mcgill (Percussion) Uruguay: composer and percussionist, has been for two consecutive years best jazz composer in our country according to the SGAE. He has played with Martirio, Joe Pass, Serrat, Chano Dominguez which whom we can see him in Fernando Trueba’s film “Calle 54”
Big Mama (Vocals) Barcelona, Montse Pratdesaba is Big Mama, the most respected voice in Blue in Spain. She has participated in numerous Jazz festivals in Spain and Europe.
Arantxa Domínguez (Vocals), Valencia, Studied in Taller del Music in Barcelona, is one of the most frequently heard voices on the Valencia Jazz scene. Has collaborated with musicions such as Revolver, Ximo Tebar, Miguel Rios, Seda Jazz Big Band.

Please note!
Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
