cd cover Agnes Buen Garnås

Agnes Buen Garnås sings Norwegian medieval songs accompanied by flute, hardingfele, organ, saxophone and harp. The record was awarded the Norwegian Grammy for best folk music recording in 1984. Draumkvedet is a piece of cultural Norwegian history as well as being a representation of world class literature.

With Harold Gundhus (flute and saxophone) , Knut Buen (hardingfele), Warren Cardstrom (Celtic harp) and Kare Nordstoga (organ).

This is a single 42 minute work, performed as a single piece.
Here are two excerpts:

Agnes Buen Garnås synger det norske middelaldereposet til tonefølge av fløyte, hardingfele, orgel, saksofon og harpe. Harald Gundhus er arrangør og platen fikk Spellemannprisen som årets folkemusikkplate 1984. Draumkvedet er et stykke norsk kulturhistorie og littera tur av ypperste verdensklasse.

Please note!
Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
