Susanne Lundeng
Drag (KKV, Norway)
The Norwegian fiddler's 1994 recording is one of my personal favorites, for it's high energy and great ensemble work. Accompanied by a simple ensemble of accordion, organ or piano, with percussion and acoustic bass, the arrangements leave her lots of room for great playing and interesting interplay with her talented compatriots.

The artist says: The selections on this CD are made and shaped by the people living along the Norwegian coast. Fiddler Susanne Lundeng provides a fresh approach to traditional recordings which are musical pictures of old history. They reflect the rich and diverse culture that developed along the northern coast of Norway.

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
