Recordings of this winters concerts in Germany and Norway with Kari Bremnes and her band were so successful that Kari and KKV decided to release the best takes on a new CD.
These familiar songs from previous releases have now been given fresh new expressions. In addition to Kari Bremnes’ formidable singing talent, the energetic drums of Helge Norbakken add a new element to the music. Bengt Hanssens keyboards, Sondre Meisfjords bass and Hallgrim Brattberg’s guitar help to energize the songs, finding new approaches for a deep listening experience.
