Tracks:
Susanne Lundeng is the most highly profiled folk song writers and fiddlers in Norway. With her personal style and characteristic sound, and with her band virtually an extension of her violin, she creates new music that is well entrenched in the Norwegian folk music tradition. She says about her new CD "Nattevåk" (Sleepless Night): "The idea of recording a CD at the old Værøy rectory in Nordland county came to me after a concert the band and I gave at the now abandoned airfield there, when we were put up in the rectory. What I didnt know before this recording session was that many of my forefathers had lived in exactly this area of Nordland, including my great-great-great-great-grandmother, who died in a shipwreck on 16 January 1840, just 38 years old, travelling home after playing her violin at a wedding on the island of Røst." With the exception of two of the tracks, all the music has been written by the artist herself.

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
