Ahmed má hladThey have adopted the motto made famous by Goran Bregovic: "Far better is the Romany brass music, which plays out of tune, than a precisely performed Madame Butterfly bound by routine."
Ahmed má hlad is a quirky, contemporary street band that focuses on the mythical journeys of its bass guitarist into Russia. It's a cinematic work, but full of theatrical bathos, high handed rhythm and wry musical humor.
The CD includes a lot of computer-based extras (text in Czech) with lots of pictures of the 'journey' and the band, and a full compliment of MP3 files of the songs ready made for your IPod.
