From the press:
This album proposes recordings based on improvisations whose successive notes & the rewriting made it possible Claire to refine her matter. The sound recordings took place in various churches of Drome Frenchwoman (to explore various acoustics) during one working week as intense as natural, to finish by an astonishing concert in the presence of people of the area.
A first album is often significant of an intention contained a long time. Collected by the microphones, something of beautiful, of fort & inexpressible birth gave to this so particular tone. In Brussels, the phases of "dérushage" succeeded the re-recordings of certain parts in studio, sound recordings in "layers" as well as new arrangements and various editions in order to supplement and enrich certain approaches ; an artistic coproduction of Yves de Ghellinck and Johan Delforge with Claire.
'Or Propos', it is finally the realization of a project lengthily in gestation : it had a time for interpretation there, discoveries in readings. It had improvisations solos there, improvisations on images, compositions on texts, creations of spectacles, meetings dances - music. Here come time to write. It is a question of going to draw where the access is thinnest. To touch with this voice. To tend to the ultimate meeting. That of oneself.
Claire achieves all the audacities in her overall exploration of her voice and sonorities of the cello, she dwells in a space of vibrations. No sound is made which does not deliver an emotion. An artist not seeking to propose her great control of the instrument but to give up herself in it, full with sensitivity, generosity, freedom, imagination, simplicity and audacity, harmony and humour.

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
