Melike breathes new life into the old troubadour songs by creating a Turkish folk style that belongs to the young generation of today. It is a meeting of musicians each with his own roots and background, who come together in the context of Turkish folksongs, influenced and adapted by the Arabic, Turkish, European Jazz and Brazilian idioms they provide. The project was conceived like a novel about Macar and the war".
