Alain Brunet Didgeridoo Orchestra and Shargh Ensemble
Paris Tehran Project (Hermes)
$17.99
Since 1982, the 21st of June is 'The Day of Music' in France, a phenomena that is spreading and now more than 100 countries are celebrating music on this special day. Hermes Records of Iran and the Cultural Center of the French Embassy celebrated by organizing a live concert at the Niavaran Cultural Complex in Tehran. This event offered a remarkable opportunity for these two ensembles to come together and share their cultures and talents, to make a whole new music full of rich drones, potent percussion and unique reeds. (And don't let the 'didgeridoo' in the orchestra's name scare you off... it's actually a miinor part of the overall sound.)

Please note!
Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
