The composer and musician Carl Nielsen once said: "As a rule, people refer to music as deep and meaningful, simply because it sounds pompous. Rubbish! The most light hearted things can have meaning, simply by being well put. Meaning comes when things that are said, are said properly."
Whether or not Henrik Jansberg is a traditional Danish musician, a non-traditional Nordic musician, a schooled musician, a playful musician or a folk-musical interpreter of the times is not easy to answer, but the fact that he says what he has to say well, is clear To prioritise both tradition and creativity is dif. cult. One must combine the hard work and long hours that together form the essence of a true knowledge of tradition, and the sensitivity and openess to incorperate one´s own time. All this is on this CD! - Carl Erik Lundgaard, Folk Musician

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
