Kristine Heebøll10 Point (Go Danish Folk Music) The Danish fiddler (of Trio Mio and Phønix) steps back to the front on her 2007 release of original tunes, backed by an impressive ensemble from around Scandinavia: Dan Gisen Malmquist (clarinet and bass clarinet), Peter Eget (harmonika), Ditte Fromseier (violin and bratsch), Andreas Tophøj (violin) and Cecillie Hyldgaard (cello). The sounds run from elegant to exhuberant, and Heebøll once again shows that she has what it takes to bring Danish folk music to the frontline of Nordic roots music.
