The well known band from the area of Madrid playing unheard tunes and some instruments quite uncommon in Castillian folk groups: gaita de fole (bellows pipe), bagpipe from the Sierra de Madrid, dulcimer, hurdy-gurdy, lute, fiddle, etc. This first album includes traditional tunes from Madrid, Castille and Leon along with their own compositions. In their search for new roads within traditional aesthetics, they create pieces which are harmonized and developed in such a way that they can even be attractive to a non-specialized public, althought retaining the spirit and forms of the original melodies. * Booklet contains texts and lyrics in Spanish and English.
