record label press:
Latitutes is the first CD by this group, founded in Cartagena in the late 90ies.

MALAGÜERO makes this journey to “Latitudes” which goes from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, with themes inspired by a wide range of roots and traditions: the gypsy music of Central Europe (Caravana Zingara), the legacy of the jews on the peninsula (El Pastor), their own roots of Murcia (Canción de Cuna), the flavour of Maghreb (La Luna y el Sol), together with others inspired by celtic music (Akelarre), and besides that rock, jazz, flamenco... Together with the unmistakable voice of Yolanda Pedreño, zanfonas, darboukas, djembés, arabic lute, electric guitars, violin, bagpipes, greek bouzouki, mandolin... and a large list of other instruments that result in a fresh and interesting work as a great first reference for this young band from the region of Murcia.

Please note!
Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
