The kings of Finland's folk music scene present some of their favorite dance tunes, the ones most requested when they play the 'quadrille' dances at folk festivals and dances. This is the roots of the music, played with verve and feeling for dancers. This is a short-ish (7 tracks, 30 minutes) collection of great fiddle, harmonium and bass, masterfully played, of course. It's almost like being in Kaustinen on a bright summer's night!
