Tendachënt is a Piedmontese band formed 1997 as a natural evolution of one of the main revival-folk bands from Northern Italy, La Ciapa Rusa. Tendachent boasted a twenty-.year career, 7 records and several concerts in France, Belgium, England, Netherlands, Denmark, USA, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, Finland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Croatia. Apart from Maurizio Martinotti, who founded La Ciapa Rusa, of which he was also the leader, two more members from the same group joined Tendachënt. More music from Italy
| "Instrumental arrangements are full, but not crowded, and always intriguing. Most of the nine selections carry a somewhat contemporary feel, yet all are firmly rooted in the tradition of Piemonte. Of special note are a low-key yet simmering schottische medley featuring twin fiddles and a bouncing bass, a tempestuous waltz medley, and the dramatic "Re Gilardin," about a young king who returns from war and dies in his mother's arms." - Al Reiss, Dirty Linen |

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
