Andrea Capezzuoli e CompagniaSuonato coi piedi! (FolkClub Ethosuoni) Virtually unknown in Italy, the traditional music of Quebec is a kind of mélange of Scot-Irish music with French songs. Alongside the fiddle, mandolin, guitar and piano, its typical instruments are the melodéon, the oldest kind of accordion, which is still found in Quebec and Louisiana; and the musicians’ feet, which make for a powerful rhythmic background in wild dances. Andrea Capezzuoli, who has always been very fond of this music, has collected a handful of classics of this genre and made a fizzy but at the same time accurate CD despite what its title would suggest (an old Italian refrain says 'you shoudl not use your feet"). |

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
