Traditional hardinfele (hardangar fiddle) from Norway by some of the best of the current generation of players: Knut Hamre, Terje Christian Hansen, Øystein Romtveit, Leiv Solberg and Lars Underdahl. The music is in the syle of and in tribute to Togeir Augundson Øydgarden (1801-1872), known as Myllarguten (the Miller's son). Performances are unaccompanied solos. Notes in Norwegian, with a solid background and history in English as well.
