The well-known Basque folk group presents a recording of 23 mostly traditional Basque children's songs. Not a 'talk down to the kids' kind of a recording, rather oskorri does the same kind of music they do for adults, full of the same mix of guitars, accordions, txalaparta and fiddles, simply going to the younger listener with whimsical (in Basque) lyrics and a real sense of huimor that comes through even if you do not speak the language. They are joined by a chorus of children on a number of the tunes, which might even encourage your kid to learn a little of the language!
