This is one of Junkera's earliest experiments with pop and jazz, and an excellent if somewhat quirky recording. here he uses a lot fo jazz elements (while still maintaining a strong Basque rhythm and melody in every track). Perhaps the most unique thing about Kalejira Al-Buk is the inlcusion of a number of songs written and sung in English in collaboration with singer David Passingham, who contributes some hipster lyrics and vocals on a number of tracks. Also joining kepa on this recording are Luis Delgado, Ibon Koteron, Mikel Laboa and Joseba Tapia.
