Press release from the ensemble:
DESERTORE is their latest release. It is filled originality, which has been created, fixed and produced with the artisan mastery which reflects the work of those that work with conviction for what they truly desire. It is fresh, credible, and natural like their previous albums. Luis Lozano is responsible for the production and sound. The musician from the Canaries has worked with artists such as Amaral, Duncan Dhu, and Silvio Rodriguez.
The album is host to the groupīs own compositions made up of the same components: Natxo de Felipe, Bixente Martinez, Xabier Zeberio, Josu Salbide, Anton Latxa, and Inigo Egia. Universal subjects such as love, nation, tradition are topics were written by one of the best lyricists of Spanish literature, Unai Elorriaga (National Prize winner of Spanish Literature in 2002).
Collaborations on the album feature exceptional artists such as percussionist Eliseo Parra (BOA), Galician group Faltriqueira, string quartet Alos Quartet and pandareter Leturia
DESERTORE is the ocean where Oskorri bathe their dreams. A place where resentment and mother countries, stingy messages and artistic mediocrities are forgotten. The band move to the more sensitive side of our world in a hope to construct an honest, sincere, and universal music. Which they achieve.
The group Oskorri is tireless. The group not only standarizes popular music in the Basque country and the Iberian Peninsula, but also creates a key reference to understand the development of our music in the past 30 years. All of their work accentuates their label, characterized by their density, personal identity, and extreme delicacy and artistic precision. Their previous work, URA and BIZKAIATIK BIAKIARA, is proof that Oskorri is an avante garde group, and transgressor of optimistic and contemporary music.

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
