The musicians:
The label says: He delivers his own secret history with modesty and intensity, in a war that is one he is fighting against himself and his own demons. Singer-songwriter inspired by the music of his travels, England, Ireland, Scotland. He kept the influences of his pairs from there, in their writing, their interpretation. Very few talents of « la nouvelle chanson française » have developed such a strong style, mixing anglo-saxon inspiration [a few songs in English are here to prove it] while keeping a real distance with these and subliming them in his own creation.
JOHAN DELVARRE’s voice, his unique world, the strength and originality
of his arrangements suggest shamanic rituals.
One might think of Michael Stipe of REM, J J Cale, or the Tùva from Oural.
His music is hypnoptic.

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
