The band says:
Anyone who today tries to get closer to the music feels he can abandon himself in this flow of rhythms, where the musical traveller finds himself dancing, dreaming and thinking of all those places, smells, sounds and colours that this river has crossed.
"Tarantulae" is what music can be and what music can give, something which arises out of the desire to create and tell stories of yesteryear and today, with a language, which is linked to old traditions but is also in continual transformation, projecting itself forward, via the use of technology, of synthesised and filtered sounds, drum 'n' bass and trip-hop grooves.
"Tarantulae", whose phonetic pronunciation is the same in Latin, Nidi D'arac's native Salento dialect and English, in the same way it creates a surprising harmony between ancient and modern, with all the power of the pizzica tarantata and the poetry of ancient refrains, music which is modern but also moving, like only the sounds of the South of the world know how to be.
This river of music has travelled through many places, aromas, sounds and colours.

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
