Please note!
Most of our CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. I guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.

Search tips:
This is a small database, and you will rarely return too many listings, so keep it simple. Your search will be returned only for listings with ALL the words you enter in the serach. So if you put in Poland and jazz, you will only get those listings that meet both criteria. This is a fairly primitive search tool, so don't use punctuation like quotes or commas, and do not use limiters like and and or... they don't help. Finally, only very basic ASCII charaters are readable (like I said, it's primitive), so substitute any letters with diacritical or accent marks with a simpler letter, ie: search Boden instead of Bodén.
If you did not find what you were looking for, do not hesitate to send me an e-mail. I may be able to order it for you. Please contact me - Cliff

Facce - $17.99 (cdRoots# ss-rosa-facce)
The ten songs in this recording make use of various dialects from Southern Italy (Sicilian, Calabrese, Greek from Salento, Neapolitan, from Lucania) to generate a musical fire in both traditional and original songs by singer Rosapaeda.

Mater Heart Folk - $17.99 (cdRoots# rd-8124)
Pugliese vocalist Antonella "Rosapaeda" Di Domenico is back, and as great as ever. From religious nursery rhymes to dub, from funk to Neapolitan-inflected melodies, rhythmic pizzica and more, she is at the peak of her artistic powers. Accompanying her are an excellent group of musicians that includes Eddi Romano on accordion and Domenico Lopez on classical guitar. Highly recommended.
