Please note!
Most of our CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. I guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.

Search tips:
This is a small database, and you will rarely return too many listings, so keep it simple. Your search will be returned only for listings with ALL the words you enter in the serach. So if you put in Poland and jazz, you will only get those listings that meet both criteria. This is a fairly primitive search tool, so don't use punctuation like quotes or commas, and do not use limiters like and and or... they don't help. Finally, only very basic ASCII charaters are readable (like I said, it's primitive), so substitute any letters with diacritical or accent marks with a simpler letter, ie: search Boden instead of Bodén.
If you did not find what you were looking for, do not hesitate to send me an e-mail. I may be able to order it for you. Please contact me - Cliff

The master of the Basque alboka a daring and unusual concept album that offers this simple yet powerful reed instrument in a wild array of presentations and settings. It focuses on reeds not only from Spain, but from around the world: the duduk of Armenia, the liru and mänkeri of Finland, the launeddas of Italy and la tsambouna (the skin of a goat with all the orifices and legs sealed except for two, similar to a bagpipe in sound). Produced by Kepa Junkera, it features a great supporting cast including Gilles Chabenat, ETXAK, Iñaki Plaza and Ruben Isasi, Kepa Junkera, Roston Kuchichian, Heikki Syrjänen, Pekka Westerholm, Faltriqueira, Ruper Ordorika, Soledona and Andrea Pisu.

Música Na Maleta - $temp out of stock-17.99 (cdRoots# res-tejedor07)
The Asturian group offers eleven new compositions and one traditional Asturian jota with a totally modern approach. In addition to the contribution of the late Igor Medio (guitars and bouzouki), they are joined James MacKintosh (percussion), Faltriqueira (voices), Mike McGoldrick (flute travesera), Jhon Joe (bodhram), Héctor Braga (cello and zanfona), and many others. Asturian music with strong roots in both Spain and Ireland, with universal appeal; this is an important release for 2007.
