Please note!
Most of our CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. I guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
Thanks- Cliff, cdRoots

Slobo Horo - Divane
The Balkan Finn rock band ride again on this 2001 release of high energy dance and art music.

Kimmo Pohjonen and Eric Echampard - Uumen
Kimmo Pohjonen (accordion)/ Eric Echampard (drums) joined forces in 2001 with the goal to make totally improvised music, live on stage with no rehearsals. They have succeeded in their aim to ride the edge of melody, counterpoint, energy and tension as proven by the enthusiastic audiences at each performance, as well as by the satisfaction and exhilaration of the two players.

Piirpauke - Ikiliikkuja-Perpetuum mobile
The Very Best of Piirpauke

Kimmo Pohjonen - Kluster
2002 release from this Finnish accordion innovator

Piirpauke / Kalevala Spirit - In the spirit of Kalevala Finland
A reissue and more, this CD includes the 1985 Piirpauke album Wild East, plus 5 more tracks from 1997 with a somewhat different sextet under the name Kalevala Spirit.

Wimme - Cugu

Tapani Rinne - Silent Night
Nordic/Sami electro-pop artist takes on Christmas and winter songs familiar and unknown

Piirpauke - Sillat
Sillat catches Piirpauke in a transition period: four of the tracks have been recorded with the previous line-up and featuring guests like Jukka Tolonen (guitar). The majority of tracks showcase the new edition of Piirpauke, featuring young classical piano virtuoso Joonas Ahonen on piano. At 18, Joonas was the youngest musician who recently got into the finals of Finland's premier classical piano contest, named after Maj Lind. With Joonas on piano, Sakari can concentrate on his main instruments - saxophones and flutes. And with Senegalese percussionist Ismaila Sane still in the band, Piirpauke continues to fuse jazz, classical, folk and ethnic elements in totally unique style.

Rinneradio - Pan
The 2004 release by this innovative Finnish ensemble of Tapani Rinne - saxophone and clarinet; Verneri Lumi - electronics and Juusonik - percussion.
