Please note!
Most of our CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. I guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
Thanks- Cliff, cdRoots

Mats Eden, Daniel Sanden-Warg, Leif Stinnerbom, Magnus Stinnerbom - Anno 2010
An award winning album of folk fiddling from Sweden by a quartet of masters. Andrew Cronshaw wrote in his fRoots review: 'For some they play all together, for some they split into duos, trio or solo, on fiddles, the sympathetic-stringed viola d'amore and violin d'amore whose incorporation into Swedish folk music have stemmed largely from the work of these musicians, or adding in moraharpa, diatonic accordion and harmonica. No bass instruments, just the dense textures of all those harmonising and droning bowed strings and wheezing reeds, and massive drive.'

Mats Berglund Trio - Mats Berglund Trio
Mats Berglund (fiddle, accordion and flute). Andreas Ralsgård (saxophone and flute). Leo Svensson (cello).

Anders Svensson - Bara for ros skull (Just for fun)
The record label says: Bara för ros skull (Just for fun) presents a traditional spelman album. However, it is full of lovely surprises. Here Småland fiddler Anders Svensson has full freedom to expand. He is given scope to twist and turn tunes and explore every nook in every quaver. When Anders plays he puts playfulness and variation first and lets the tunes flow freely. He is a musician whose music is characterised by flow and space.

Simon Simonsson - Livets Lat
Swedish fiddler Simon Simonsson is an important link with the older generation of Swedish folk musicians. Simon (born 1945) has met and played with many legendary old fiddle players, especially in the provinces of Jämtland, Dalarna and Uppland.

Simon and Olle Simonsson, Kjell-Erik Eriksson - Drängkammarlåtar (Farm-hand Tunes)
The trio plays music that was in fashion among country people in Sweden at the beginning of this century. Simon and Kjell-Erik (of Hoven Droven) play the fiddle as well as Simon's brother Olle, who also ccompanies on zither and guitar. Most of the tunes come from the fiddlers from andAulvdalen in Dalecarlia and Offerdal in Jamtland.

Boda spelmanslag - Latar pa Bodamal
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Boda Spelmanslag in 2003. In addition to the tracks which were on the first edition there are another ten fantastic Boda tunes which were recorded at the time of the 1979 LP but and are now available for all to hear.
