Please note!
Most of our CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. I guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.

Haugaard and Hoirup - Rejsedage/Travelling (CD/DVD)
The 7th album of the Danish violin-guitar duo of Harald Haugaard and Morten Alfred Høirup is a celebtation of their 10th anniversary of working together, a CD and DVD set that is as wonderful as anything they have done. They are my friends as well as great musicians, and so I am highly biased, but nonetheless, this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. (DVD is NTSC/North America format)

Harald Haugaard and Anders Mogensen - Spirits
Haugaard seeks new ground in this fusion of Danish folk music and jazz-rock sensibilities. Jazz percussion, guitar and bass by Anders Mogensen, Krister Jonsson and Jonas Westergård bring new ideas to the Danish folk dance tunes they grab and reinvent. It's aggressive but never distorted, and the power of Haugaard's fiddling is never overcome by the strength of Mogensen's drum kit.

Haugaard and Høirup - Duo for Violin and Guitar
The pleasure in such a recording is in the exchange of ideas evident in each tune, as two exellent musicians both share the spotlight and vie for centerstage.' - Dirty Linen

Harald Haugaard - Burning Fields
The Danish fiddler returns with a dynamic new recording that skirts and flirts with and ultimately shatters all the boundaries. Folk music, rock, jazz, baroque, classical and pure noise all collide on 7 songs and a long "Burning Fields Suite."

Haugaard and Hoirup - Om Sommeren
The third studio recording by the Danish duo is every bit as wonderful as the previous ones. Harald Haugaard's fiddle playing just gets better and Morten Alfred Høirup's guitar work is, as always, superb. The bonus on this release: Morton sings on a few tracks, his husky, heartfelt vocals adding another fine touch to the duo's work.
