Anders Nygårds from Rättvik in Dalarna and Magnus Stinnerbom from Värmland are both well-known 9and brilliant!) Swedish fiddlers. The repertoire presented here is primarily on traditional tunes from Rättvik, with a few tunes are from other areas; Dalsland, Småland and Norway. The entire recording is just the violinists with no additional ensemble... the real stuff, unadulterated.

Anders Nygårds and Magnus Stinnerbom met in Stockholm in 1998. They have been playing together since then.
Anders is from Rättvik in Dalarna and is inspired by the work of Pers Hans Olsson and Per Gudmundsson. Anders has developed into one of the foremost fiddlers from Rättvik area. Magnus Stinnerbom was born in Värmland and plays in the groups Hedningarna and Harv. Together Anders and Magnus brings a new dimension to traditional fiddling of Rättvik tunes.
