Cantigas De Nadal
11 tracks of traditional Galician songs of the Christmas season by 11 bands and artists on the current Galician folk scene: Berrogüetto, Leilia, Pancho Alvarez, Na Lua, Os Cempes, Maite Dono, Uxia, Chouteria, Muxicas, Xistra de Coruxo and A Quenlla. Each ensemble was allowed to find an old song or write a new one in the traditional style, and they came through with a marvelous set of songs. It's a nice comination of ancient raditions and new ideas. The notes on the season and the music are printed in Galician, Spanish and English in a separate booklet, and it's all packaged in a pretty slip case.
